New Speed Minute animated films!
These one-minute films on the Virtual Classroom are perfect for reviewing sounds speedily. Children review sounds three times, each time speedier than the last – great for extra practice!
Set 3 films are coming in April, with Set 2 following soon after.

A daily Word Challenge for your class!
In Set 2 and Set 3 Word Challenge on the Virtual Classroom, children practise the ‘Special Friends, Fred Talk’ routine. They read a mix of real and nonsense words containing Set 1, 2 and 3 sounds. There is plenty of practice of reading words containing four and five sounds.

The Read Write Inc. Phonics Online subscription on Oxford Owl provides additional Speed Sounds cards to help you and your children prepare for the phonics screening check. You can download and print these easily, as part of your subscription.
